I see what I see and interpret what I can.
Always looking at objects in the home surroundings from inside and outside.
The landscape tells me what to do
Outside near woods, water and nature inspire
my art where I can be even when I'm

in a enclosed space. Windows either at home or studio allow me to perceive out.

 

I dabble with self-Portrait drawings using colored pencils and oil pastels. Charcoal, graphite and pastel are the prefer drawing mediums I use on paper. 

Majority of  my paintings are done in oil paint medium combined with consistency of recipes.  

Painted on canvas, linen, and wood panels. In 2014  I tried a figurative  acrylic on paper hanging on  the studio wall.

Printing digitally talks to me easily.   My past experience was in traditional and photographic  printmaking, (my fine art major... before computers). Because of that  learning experience  in art school and working in Printing Ateliers  I became comfortable with the  conversion of the digital  tools and software.

The blog will be on a continue journey,  as I add more text, artwork (not selfies)...

SEVEN DAYS INTO JANUARY 2015::: It's a chilly day.... People of this Earth... acting out of control...People acting together trying to keep it from a storm... I continue to dawdle with various sights to showcase my words and art..scribbles ... maybe not that either  (the art..a spicy word too hot for me right now).  I go on and continue making drawings, paintings, prints, digital art and design. It started snowing so I'll add a digital drawing Winter Woods 

EIGHTEEN DAYS INTO JANUARY 2015::: It's a rainy slippery day.... Completed a painting this week. Oil on stretched canvas 24"x18" for now let's call it RED

TWENTY THREE DAYS INTO JANUARY 2015::: Bright day..... Printed and took pictures of  three digital images today. Giclee Prints; Butternut With Leaves printed on Velvet Fine Art Epson Paper 19"x13".  FIRST TRY epson matte paper 11"x8.5". BW SHADOW BUILDING epson matte paper 11"x8.5"

TWENTY NINE DAYS INTO JANUARY 2015:::Clear chilly day..... Printed and took pictures digital images today. Giclee Prints; Red Flower Up Close printed on Velvet Fine Art Paper 19"x13".

TWENTY THREE DAYS INTO FEBRUARY 2015::: Bright cold day..... Warmer days ahead inside more can't wait for the warmth. Spring and flowers even though Valentines brings many beautiful florals. BLUE FLOWERS & FISH  Oil on Stretched Canvas  20"x 20"

TWENTY SIX DAYS INTO APRIL 2015::: Bright cool early Spring.... It's been too long since last posted on RB Miller's page. Very busy doing drawings for paintings and prints. Picture 1 is graphite and charcoal drawn on stretched primed canvas. The portrait drawing came from my ideas and image in my head no pre sketches. Picture 2 red paint over drawing. Like the way the graphite and charcoal blended with the red paint. Red paint takes time to dry. Picture 3 White chalk self transfer drawing.

Six of May, 2015...  Letting her dry as I have been at the studio laying more paint and detail on her. Will post a newer picture soon. Looking for new faces to start more portrait paintings.
